2. Wallplate for an E-Port Controller.

3. Screws (3) to attach the wallplate to the conversion plate.

4. Screw head covering cap.

5. Triangular Cover plate to hide screws etc. (not shown)

The ODS Control 10 is Discontinued however a very simple low cost conversion to the new E-Port Controller is available.

 

Several years ago as part of OZRoll’s ongoing development of products they introduced a newer style controller the E- Series E-Port Controller, these controllers use the best quality Lithium Ion cells. The Control10 uses Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, which are outdated.
The battery life for the new E-Port Controller is well in excess of the old style ODS and Smartdrive battery and is expected to easily be 5-7 years.
Ozroll continued to manufacture the old ODS Control 10 units for several years, the decision has been made to cease manufacturing.

The cradle (Wall Plate) to house the E-Port Controller on the wall has a different footprint and mounting screws than the old ODS Control 10 units, however a simple low cost conversion kit is available for $19.50 if purchasing separately, but you will also need the E-Port controller for $125.00.
If you bundle the conversion kit along with the E-Port controller then the conversion kit is only $15.00 total $140.00 including the controller.

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. To achieve a smooth and clean conversion, the original wall plate (ODS WALL PLATE) is removed (keep the 2 screws you remove) take note of how the wires are connected.
2. Fix the conversion plate to the wall using the 2 original holes and screws you removed earlier
3. The E-Port Wall Plate is then attached to the conversion plate with the 3 screws supplied don't forget to reconnect the wiring first.
4. Cover the exposed top screw with the supplied plug then click the triangular cover plate in place.
5. Thats it your finished place the charged E-Port Controller in the Wall Plate and operate the shutter.
